I recently installed PhotoPost on my website Yahoo ( I have not tied it to theweb site.. can't seem to get the pictures to upload..no messages just no upload after filling in the files etc.. Tried on adminstrator and visitor site without luck www.cropperscorral.com/photopost/index.php
Help would be appreciated..
Hi rhonda, have you setup your usergroups correctly, giving upload rights, space, filesizes etc.. also check your paths, for example : "Data directory virtual path", should read 'http://www.cropperscorral.com/photopost/data' - also check 'PATH to UPLOADS directory?' & 'URL to UPLOADS directory?' (no trailing slashes)
I don't think I have any of the settings incorrect for the directorie, BUT:
Full path to PhotoPost data directory /photopost/data/
Full path to the image files directory.
(the / after data "returns" after you save without itl...
However the Data directory virtual path is as below.
Data directory virtual path http://www.cropperscorral.com/photopost/data
I did have some difficulty with the config-inc.php file, and I changed from localhost to mysql, and that seemed to help, but the install program seemed focused on the $mogrify_command. I did not see the $usegd = 2 line in the config file and tried multiple iterations of this command($usegd= 2; $usegd = "2"; etc, without change. I also commented out the mogrify_command without apparent change. Should I just start over? and if so, what's the best way?

I don't get any errors, I'm just not able to upload pictures. Can change categories etc without difficulty. I tried a bulk upload without success (grand total of 2 pictures). I suspect its something really basic? or unfindable

I get what I believe is the normal upload screen. It has file name etc with an area below it for bulk upload, what pathway that the files should be in, with questions such as should you delete files post upload etc. I will add the code that you suggested and give things a whirl
In my bulkupload.php file I have
ini_set("max_execution_time", 0); Not ini_set("max_execution_limit", 0) I added the line you suggested underneath ini_set("max_execution_time", 0);

No luck/ apparent change.
The upload page looks something like
Choose a category

No file size limit.
You can upload more than one image at a time, however you must upload videos one at a time.
URL of page to parse images from:
Disk space allowed on your account: Unlimited
Disk space used on your account: 0kb (0 bytes)
Disk space remaining for your account: Unlimited
Skip upload and process the files in your upload directory
Want to be notified by email when users post replies?

When you hit SUBMIT, the file you selected will be uploaded.
(Depending on the size of the file and your connection, this may take some time. Please be patient.)
Sorry Chuck....I new that was her issue. I was just mentioning that as I had said I had the same issue....but "I" was not on Yahoo and still had the issue. I'll post another thread. I didn't see the problem of getting in on a thread when the issue is the same. Usually, when you do that, people say, "Go see the thread titled....." or "please search on this before creating a new thread"..... too many webmasters with too many different rules. Now that I know yours, I'll gladly create another thread.
