| ReviewPost Beta - Give me your ideas.
Okay just like the title says been thinking about time for some new features and the ideas here seem real stale or are already part of the product so just looking for some fresh ideas.

How about a way to easily integrate various shopping affiliates through the admin panel?
ie. a form to fill in the affiliate link, and a graphic that would populate on the showproduct.tmpl?
Just a suggestion for your further development.

Are you referring to the links like amazon etc that we already have within the actual application?
You can choose which one to use but we do not like list every last one on the showproduct page. I really need clarification here to respond.

Yes, but let the user enter the affiliate code for Amazon in the admin page, vs. hard coding into the software...

Well not quite sure we are talking the same thing since our search link codes are simply that search links. I think you are also needing to place some type of affiate id into the actual search url right?

ReviewPost is next to have work done to support vBulletin 5 so I will look into this discussion we had here to see what would be involved.
The problem is the existing code is more like search links to find that product on specific sites more than affiliate links where one makes money if you buy a product from the site which is my understanding of affiliate links.

As far as an affiliate id I would have to investigate all the various search engines we utilitize on the dealtime links. It should not be hard to add an affiliate id to each search engine if they support such a feature. You seem centered here on amazon.
Amazon does &tag=xxxxx right? Thats the affiliate portion?
