Templates?

Chuck -

Have been checking out your BETA site, ahve you ever considered providing more professional templates as the base install? I've used your software, and combine with VBulletin just to get more options for templates... Kind of funny to spend >$100 just to get a template that works from VB...

What about a way to convert a VB template (without VB) to make it work with RP? I would think this would be a great opportunity?

Any thoughts?

Feel free to post some ideas on template types?

Classifieds is alot easier you know forsale personals help wanted wanted and I did up a business template recently for there.

Reviewpost its all about ideas I mean we have a regular product review and a customer service template other than that I have not heard any ideas from people on other things they want.

As you see I have been spending a great deal of time improving SEO and language translations flexibility and even translated the entire admin areas of both products.

Sorry, but I think I misused the word "templates". I actually meant the style options for these software?

yeah style and templates are two separate things.

Main Index - Omegatron.net Reviews

There is not much fancy with the default vb style that is released by vbulletin. I dont think there style is any better than say the colonial or antique in reviewpost.

I think your referring to the multitude of special addon styles you can buy from third party companies.

yes, style is what I meant... My point is only why not have an option to use vbulletin styles from 3rd parties? ie. an importer of 3rd party vb styles... I like the opportunity to use those styles, but do not need the full vbulletin features. Your default message board is more than enough for me, and most of us...

Just a suggestion...

well the issue is the style class names really. Its a different system made for a different product so not really something you can use unless you create a new reviewpost style based on the vb style.

We have our own class names. Here is how we map them in the vb file

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
Really I think the correct answer here is users really interesting in making themes and distributing them should do so here.

Reviewpost comes with like a dozen different themes

Omegatron Classifieds - Main Index

I personally like these two best but then again I created them.

vbulletin comes with ONE basic style we offer a dozen. If you want other styles in vb you need to buy them.

With the above post you should be able to match the vb style classes to the proper reviewpost classes and copy and paste the css you want to make your own styles based off of a vb style.
