New post in forum when review is posted

This is a feature I would really like to see: A new post in a designated forum when a review have been posted. Would greatly increase the visibility of the new reviews.

SGL.

EDIT: Considering this is a separate supporting several different forum softwares, and not a vB plugin, my wish is probably quite unlikely to come true, or what?

Something like that would be considered a modification since your talking about something outside the reviewpost software. It would be a forum specific feature in general.

Example like lets take vbulletin. You have the ability to place an rss feed to populate a forum in vb. You could use the reviewpost external.php script to do that without any modification to code since we have an RSS feed in the default software. No mods needed for vb or reviewpost.

Cool!

Could you tell me how I do that?

What how to setup an rss feed in vb? I beleive they probally have full tutorials on there support site.

It is under RSS Feeds in vb admin panel add new rss feed.

You set it up and the reviewpost rss file is external.php so something like this

http://www.domain.com/reviewpost/external.php?type=RSS
