Offline Review

Some reviews take longer so it would be nice if the user could write some now and finish it later.

I definitely would. I think more emphasis should be placed on reviews, not the products themselves. They call it reviewpost, not productpost.

Offline? I don't see how this would work with an online application where one needs to be online and enter a review etc and it gets posted to the database.

Please give some insight here on your thinking. I know if I was writing a post review etc that I could not complete I would usually write it in notepad etc and post it later.

A simple pull-down that has "ONLINE" or "OFFLINE" setting would allow the user to keep their review offline until they are satisfied with it.

You could look at it that way but instead of just the admin, it would be the user.

I think what he means is "storage space" in review post that will hold text (his reviews) until he can come back and finish later. There was a hack for this in VB.org, but for vBulletin, where a member could save a draft for a post he or she was in the process of making, and it would stay in their UserCP.

Yes... just a way to start a review, work on it and then save it to be finished later.
