| Issue with Reviewpost
Sorry for posting here, but it's really not a bug and it's nothing to do with the installation as far as I can tell.
My users have informed me that they cannot post multiple times with Review post. I'm using my reviewpost for a fly database for flyfishing. Somebody posts a photo of a fly they tied and other users are allowed to review it and ask questions about it... However, they cannot ask multiple questions about the product.
Is there a work around or hack for this? Otherwise, this software is absolutely useless to my site and the users.
Thanks

I know this has been discussed before and I think the reason was that it would screw up the rating system.
Personally for my own application or reviewpost multiple replies need to be allowed.
I would agree that it most cases it's probably not needed, however it would be great if it was an option or at least a supported hack.
Though you can use the quick reply box over and over again which is good.

Yes this has been discussed to death many times over and the product is not coded to allow multiple reviews from one person. That is not how any review system works.
If a person changes there mind they may edit there review. I do beleive if you run a search on this in some of the discussions there are tweaks to assist you

Chuck,
Let me ask this... Why isn't there a user hack / modification system here? Recently, I had a discussion over at the VBAdvanced site regarding their product vs. your product.
One of their arguments (Photopost vs. vbgallery) was that there are many hacks / mods available for vbgallery and that vbgallery was also less expensive. So, I went and looked at the hacks / mods for vbgallery and let them know that most if not all of those hacks were already incorporated into photopost. Haven't heard any response since that.
But it would seem as if a hack / mod section for all of your products would be very useful for us users. I've been with you guys for about 4 years now... Take a suggestion from an oldtimer!

Most of the "mods" at vbgallery are from users who wanted the functionality already present in PhotoPost. In fact, I'm not aware of any mods they have that we don't already support, but we have plenty of them they don't (inlcuding Mobile Phone uploads, email uploads, RSS feeds, etc).
We're starting out slow with putting the mod section back on this site and trying not to put too many expectations on our support staff; if all goes well, we can expand it.

Michael, that was the point I was trying to make.
I totally undestand not wanting to burdon the support team with user add-ons... It would appear that Chuck has enough on his plate already. Just put it up and make it clear that the forum is for unsupported hacks/mods. Hell, take Chucks access away for that forum!
On another note, although I can see how reviewpost benefits many of its users, it's just not what I thought it would be. What are my chances of a refund or credit to my account for continued support of Photopost?
A few of the reasons I feel Reviewpost does not benefit my users...
1. Limited number of fields.
2. Each user can only post 1 reply to a review. This means that the originator of the review cannot answer questions.
If both of these were to change (but more importantly, #2), I'd be happy to purchase reviewpost at a later date.
Chuck, I searched the forums using various key words and strains of keywords, looking for a solution to the original post within this thread. The only thing I could find were people complaining that it wasn't an option.

Refunds are not up to me, although I would imagine removing the 1 review limit would only be a matter of changing a small bit of code.

Caddis
If you want to remove the restriction you can remove this from reviews.php
For the record I post on post reviews in the search and you need to go back to march but this was posted here how do I allow more than one review? Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

This seams to have worked. I'm going to have some users test this out.
Thanks!
