Update script

When you run the update script (say to update from v3 to v3.01) it updates various things assuming you're running 2.9 as that's the only option you can run.

The end result is that default values are inserted for some settings (such as the "find lowest prices for... " link which gets turned back on).

Can we have a more detailed update script that allows for the fact that we could be updating from 3.0 release or 3.01 release now?

There is no specific upgrade script from 3.0 to 3.01

3.01 contained various bug fixes reported in the first week or so after the release of the code.

Correct.

So those of us that were using the release version of 3.0 had to run the upgrade script lsited as "2.9->3.0" to incorporate the improvements in 3.01.

Without running the upgrade script again, things like the new HTML on/off toggles in the admin panel were missing, plus the version number listed was out of date. The only choice was/is to run the 2.9 update.

Hence my request for a more up to date "update" script in the future that caters for previous official release versions.
