The manufacturer should be selected from a drop down list (if a manufacturer is still missing the user could add the manufacturer himself). So you could have a new page listing all products from manufacturer xyz
Also you could enter detail Information about an manufacturer like logo, contact details (web, phone)...

* A front page block for a portal showing the last x number of reviews.
* In /showcat.php the possibility to show the date of the last review for each product.

I was also wondering if there were an ETA, and any idea if you were going to include any of these suggestions (ie. the enhanced wysiwyg editor or ability to integrate with PHPbb2's)
Any ideas?

I would like to see tighter integration with vBulletin, these last few steps have been great, but I have a few issues with styles, if we have selectable styles on our sites the graphics sets for RP doesn't change...
I also have been starting to use png-24 graphics to make a invisible background due to different styles.. but if there is more than one graphic on a product, or the product is bigger than 250 pixels the background turns black.
I would like to have the php code seperate from the style code for easier editing and upgrading. As it is right now if you edit a template, then need to upgrade to get the latest features and bug fixes, you really loose all your changes which makes it a pain to either want to upgrade or make changes.
EDIT: I forgot, would it also be possible to add code to make png-24 transparencys work under IE? I found a page describing how to do it, but can 't find it anylonger.. but i know it's possible.

Any updates? | Without pushing you guys (the developers) it would be very useful to get an idea of the time it's likely to be before a beta and final version will be released. I'm trying to plan my time and prioritise some web projects for the next couple of months so even a ball park time frame would be most appreciated.

When in the process of looking over reviews for approval, the page lists just the product number of the item, not the name. I have to click on the number in order to figure out which item the user is referring. While I know the database queries are based on the index number, would it be possible to show the name of the product in addition to or instead of the number?

As I mentioned in a seperate thread, I think that it would be better to have the option to include a default image with a product if none was uploaded for it, so that all products, even those without images, will be included in the "Recent Products," "Most Popular Products" and "Random Products" tables on the index page.
There are many times when users do not choose to upload a photo with an uploaded product.

i have another suggestion. from within the reviews, it would be nice if there was a way you directly link the reviews to a forum. you could goto a review of a product and then find not only the ratings and reviews but a link to a forum to discuss the product. insted of having to go to the main forum then find the topic or sub-forum that relates to the item.

As a suggestion i recommend a build-in reputation system for the reviewers (authors). It can be a important motivation for the authors as well a way to build a reputation on line for them.
In my personal case this point is as important as the compare products.
Sorry my bad english. |

I think we should put the language variables in the database instead of file based. That way when you upgrade you wont lose all your changes or have to search and compare.
Another idea would be to do the same with the templates.
Love this script!!!
