Error updating from 4.2 release to 5.0

I am trying to update Reviewpost to the latest version. VB4.2 integrated. I started the update from version 3.2 and everything went well up to 4.2 to 5. When i try to run that update I get the following error.

Quote:
Warning: include(./templates/reviews//thumbnail.tmpl) [function.include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/aquatic/public_html/review/pp-inc.php on line 446

Warning: include() [function.include]: Failed opening './templates/reviews//thumbnail.tmpl' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/aquatic/public_html/review/pp-inc.php on line 446

Warning: require(./forums/vb3.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/aquatic/public_html/review/pp-inc.php on line 5109

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required './forums/vb3.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/aquatic/public_html/review/pp-inc.php on line 5109
I tried turning integration of in the config-intr.php completely but I still get the same error

In your config-inc.php file is the $RP_PATH variable set to this?

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
Looks to me like your path is not set correctly in your config

Thanks. That fixed it. Somehow I had left $RP_PATH blank.

Sorry to disturb you again but I have a new problem.

I have finished the update but I have no admin links etc. If I go to adm-index.php I have allmost no links/ alternatives. the spaces for the missing links are there but not the links themselves.

I also tried to Update Classifieds. The update went without any problems but once done i get the error below:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /home/aquatic/public_html/aquariumforum/includes/class_bootstrap.php on line 26

hard to comment without actual url to look at. Reviewpost you must install the vb4 plugins per the documentation to have a menu in the vb navbar.

URL aquaticcommunity[dot]com/review/

It seems like I am missing phrases. I have reuploaded all files.

On aquaticcommunity[dot]com/review/showproduct.php?product=8&title=api-aquarium-pharmaceuticals-pimafix&cat=26
you see that the dropdown menu on the top left is empty

On aquaticcommunity[dot]com/review/member.php?uid=12593&username=angelcakes
You see that profile pages are basically empty

The Plugin Improves the layout but did not fix the missing text.

Reuploading and rerunning install/phrases.php did however resolve it.

Thanks for all your help.

Yes if you selected all the proper upgrades you needed to run then the phrases.php would have been added. You must have missed one.

yeah weird I forget which upgrade adds the phrases table but if you where mising phrases always running the import phrases portion would correct things as it would delete all old phrases and re-import a clean copy.
