Can't create new review after upgrade to 6.0 (blank page)

Hi

I just upgraded reviewpost from 5.1 to 6.0. Everything seems to work except when I click the "Post A Review" button it goes to a blank page.

I already tried reuploading all files, and looking at the dates the old files are indeed replaced with the new ones.

What else could be causing this issue?

PS: just discovered, the "Edit Categories" link directs me to this message: "No input file specified."

Which seems to make sense since there is no adm-cats.php file in the latest download package? Uploading the old file made it work but it seems to be missing in the new package nonetheless.

I'm running vB 3.8.7 btw.

No idea what your issue with posting a review is because if I hit post a review I get the proper link

Which in turn works fine. Maybe you have a corrupt file try uploading reviews.php again.

Your right about adm-cats.php missing although not real sure how that happened. I will add that file back as that is the correct action. That file is a self contained file just for editing cats so no changes from the 5 series probally the only file in the program that has not changed in version 6.

Although you run vb4 and we vb3 but I uploaded 3 times already. Then I deleted the files altogether and again uploaded the new ones. Still persists. I don't know our FTP client has been acting weird.

I did notice there are 2 files in the download package reviews.php and reviewss.php

Could be something on our side, not saying it isn't but I was hoping for a hint. We'll try a few other things.

There is reviews.php and reviewrss.php that is correct two totally different files one is a review rss script.

I can only guess without physically looking at your site. I have not ran vb3 in many years.

You can try replacing your reviews template with this one but if you still have an issue you need to send me site info through the contact us link.

When I disable vb3 integration it works, so I can narrow it down to vb3 integration related. The file above did not change it.

Maybe a try turning off the plugins in vb3 and see if its a plugin thing.

It could also be an issue with newer vb 3 series as things have not been tested later than 3.83 I think.

I will do some testing if you want me to help out just let me know.

I decided to setup a vb3 test and posting a review works fine with a freshly downloaded vb 3.87 patch level 3 which is the latest from vbulletin.com

You should try as noted to upload the review templates here just to be sure yours are ok and turn off your plugin system and see if you can post a review.
