New Installation Problem

Hi,

I"m stuck in step 4,it read :

Quote:
We're sorry, but we encountered an error during the installation process...

Unable to create/write to C:\inetpub\wwwroot est3 eviewpost/data! Check your data directory permissions before continuing.

When you have fixed your permissions Refresh this page to try again.

If you have corrected the error, you may hit GO BACK and try again.
I have setup file "data" permission correctly but the problem still persistent.
I"m using my personal dedicated server,OS windows server 2008 R2.
Thank"s for any advice.

Two things to consider.

1. Make sure in the config section you server path uses forward slashes like

C:/yourpath/reviewpost

The permissions on the uploads and data directory must be 777 permissions which are read write execute. If your path is correct and still get the error then permissions can not be set correctly.

Yep your attachments showed that you did not correct your path to use forward slashes. Glad you figured it out.
