You are not a valid administrator or moderator!

Hi,

I've just updated from 3.3 to 4.2. The upgrade process went smoothly enough, but when it took me to adm-index.php at the end, I'm getting the following error message:

"You are not a valid administrator or moderator!"

How do I get around this? Do I need to alter a setting in the database?

Thanks

Have you ran all your pertinent upgrade scripts to properly upgrade from 3.3 to 4.2?

Yeah, I started off with the 3.3 -> 3.32 upgrade and followed through all the upgrade steps from there.

we definately need more info

what is the url integration type?

Have you checked that the actual administrator group in the rp_usergroups table has admin access.

Well then quite simply I would tend to think if the user your logged in as is in usergroup one in fusion bb then your not really logged in.

Are you sure your logged in tried looking at cookies making sure they are exact between both applications.

I'm logged in at both, it says so on RP. It also won't let me logout, which I'm assuming is because i'm logged in on the forums.
I've deleted all cookies and then started again, logged into FBB, which then also logged me into RP. No joy though, same error as before when trying to access the admin panel.

As for cookies, what are the RP ones called? I've got FBB, rsi and _utmc/b/a, are any of them for RP?

Yeah, nothing has changed usergroup wise. It was working fine until I updated it. I'll submit URLS to the contact link.
