Have you ran the upgrades?

You can as admin set the debug option to display errors in global options in admin and then view the page and it will show you the true error.

Yes, I have run the upgrades.

Is it bad to run them again?

I ran that, it didn't seem to do antyhing or delete anything.

So I went into "browse" and deleted it, this time it went, but the issue still remains.

I do very much want to sort by name as default.

Thanks for the continued help.

Sorry, I'm confused. I used to be able to sort by name quite easily.

Any idea on the error?

That is not sort by name.

You have it set to sort by price and I think this might have been a sorted added by mistake from classifieds

Well, the issue came up when I updated. Is it ok to run upgrades more than once? It seemed upgrading twice on PP fixed things..

well you can run then twice except the one that moves the files to the new file system type

Make sure you remove that sort and your category is set to the proper sort

Ok, it's working now. Added the table entry I deleted and then went into cat settings.

I've more stuff to get sorted, but thanks for the help so far. Best customer support I've ever experienced.
