Can't get install.php to run I just purchased ReviewPost and can't install it. When I go to run install.php, I get a generic "internal error or misconfiguration" error. I am using Hostgator and had no problems installing vBulletin (latest stable version). |
My server has PHP 5.2.6, safe mode is off, MySQL 5.0.51a, GD 2.0.34 installed |
I don't know if this is helpful, but my server error log says: [Wed Dec 03 09:17:34 2008] [error] [client 162.129.76.97] SoftException in Application.cpp:252: File "/home/asabet/public_html/reviewpost/install.php" is writeable by group |
We have responded to your helpdesk ticket already I think but lets go over this. Please upload clean unedited config files and make them 666 permissions and all other php scripts should be 644 non writable so set permissions on the install file accordingly and then you should be fine. |
Thanks, that worked. Now I am on Step 4, and I don't know what to put for "URL to Forum Directory". My stuff is all in the public.html directory, so do I write http://ziforums.com/public.html or just http://ziforums.com ? |

Thank you! It seems like everything installed, but when I go to http://ziforums.com/reviewpost, I get an error: Warning: chdir() [function.chdir]: No such file or directory (errno 2) in /home/asabet/public_html/reviewpost/header-inc.php on line 47 Warning: require(./global.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/asabet/public_html/reviewpost/header-inc.php on line 48 Warning: require(./global.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/asabet/public_html/reviewpost/header-inc.php on line 48 Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required './global.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/asabet/public_html/reviewpost/header-inc.php on line 48 |

Thank you very much! Installation seemed to go well. I do have another problem but will do a search and start another thread if necessary since it isn't related to installation. |
