template do not display after upgrade

I have made some changes in the showproduct.tmpl, one of these changes was a google map script to shown a map into the template.

This was working fine in the 3.32 version but after the upgrade to 4.02 the map is not displayed and... i do not know the reason.

Did you reapply and hacks that you had after you uploaded your files?

is not exactly a upgrade, i was developing in my localhost with the 3.32 version, when i finish to made all the changed desired i see the 4.02 version is avalaible.

I install the 4.02 (fresh instalation) both in my localhost and my remote server, then i (create categories etc...) modify the showproduct template.

But the google map do not appear, i think it was a problem of diferences between local server and remote server , and copy directly the old showproduct.tmpl of my local server to the new 4.02 directory of my local server but the map do not show.

for this i think there are a problem in the 4.02 version with the google map script.

i can send you a screen capture and the tmpl file if you need it.

Well your free to post about some mod you did in the MOD CORNER.

Maybe if your map does not appear make sure you edit the right template. Like if this is integrated with vb it would be templates/vb3enhanced/showproduct.tmpl

fisrt to post it in the mod corner it is necesary it is working fine.

I do no have the vb integration enabled so the correct file is templates/showproduct.tmpl. If i make modifications to this file i see the changes in the screen, so is the correct file

The css style is diferent for the two version. Can be this the problem?

i will try to put the same style for the two version....

No what I am saying is this is not an issue with reviewpost but a problem with your hack not our code.

The CSS is not different at all between 3.32 and 4.02 and unless there are changes you made to the styles I would not think this is your issue.

My suggestion is to look at your hack. View the source of your page. View the template directly by url make sure your changes are there. review your code to see if anything your doing might be an issue

Nothing has change in our code from 3.32 to 4.02 template wise that would prevent you from adding some html somewhere as long as you add it correctly.
