Thank you, it's a shame that fellow customers have to come up with the fixes.

Send a message via AIM to DLWebmaestro
Hopefully we'll get a fix soon so we can truly upgrade to 4.0...

We happen to be short staffed this week - we are a small company, and our employees occasionally take much needed vacations. Also, when a bug is reported, we have to investigate and test before we can release it.

If anyone can try the fix that was posted and let me know if that resolves the issue, that would be helpful:

Well what ticks me off is that there is NO support without Chuck, what if Chuck got hit by a bus? We'd all be screwed. I called the main sales number and no one answers.
That's not correct. If Chuck is not available, then Michael Pierce (our lead and most experienced developer), myself (the president of the company, fluent in Perl/PHP who created PhotoPost in 2001), and Zachariah (an experienced developer) are all available to provide support. We have 14,000 customers and when we get short staffed, it takes a little extra time to resolve support inquiries. It's not possible for us to hire enough people to prevent this issue, because we simply don't make enough money to have lots of extra bodies hanging out for the few times a year when we get short staffed.

We also don't provide phone support and never have - only phone pre-sales questions.

We are investigating the issues reporting in this thread this evening and will post an update as soon as possible.

Scott, I appreciate your post!!

That fix does in fact fix the issue..

There is another issue as well. Help needed: Error message(s)

When you try to create a new product you get an error regarding the buddy feature. I fix I posted also works, although not sure what the buddy feature is or if it's important to others.

I'm down with vacations. I think maybe just a little post saying "Hey, going to be away til xxxx" (especially with one tech per product)

Thanks for the post!

We didn't announce Chuck's vacation because everyone else is covering. Chuck covers all products, as do I and Michael as well.

There where a total of 3 bugs in the reviewpost new release which where all small and posted in a 2 week timeframe. All issues are resolved I am back from vacation and the build is updated.

Redownload the build and upload

pp-inc.php
image-inc.php
showproduct templates.

Hey Chuck,
No more vacations for you!
I updated the files you indicated, but in the admin panel it still says I am using version 3.32.
Do I need to run the upgrade again?

Are you reading the news statement or the actual version listed under statistics?

I have sent Michael an email to update the news statement. I beleive you are reading that news announcement that is saying our latest version is 3.32

Hi Chuck,
I am pretty sure I am reading it correctly.
It's exactly the same as I posted in post #5 in this thread.

I would suggest you redownload your build and upload adm-misc.php

Lines 1799-1800 of adm-misc.php

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

Thanks Chuck,
At this point I might feel better if I reupload all new files as I suspect that there are more that are not correct.
If I do that, should I run the upgrade script again?

Here is what I have on 1782-1783:
Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

If you ran the upgrade you should not have to run it again but there would be no harm running the 3.32 to 4.0 upgrade again just duplicate errors about fields already existing.

Sounds to me like not all the new files where uploaded so yeah downloading and reuploading everything except the config files install file any header footer or modified stylesheets would work fine.

I reuploaded all of the files, and ran the upgrade. It seems to have worked.

Thanks
