RP 3.33 & phpBB3 Potential Issue [Forum Database Prefix]

Hi,

I recently upgraded to RP 3.33 and am using phpBB3. When logged in as admin I can upload products, but regular users can't.

I refreshed the forum usergroups and set their permissions.

Here's the thing. I cannot see a setting for the forum prefix. I have two forums setup in one database. I use a phpbb_ prefix for my old phpBB2 boards (no longer used but data is still there). My new phpbb3 install uses a phpbb3_ prefix in the SAME DATABASE.

Since I cannot find a forum database prefix setting, I think I've discovered the problem. That setting does not exist in the admin panel or in config-inc.php

Help.

The setting does indeed exist in the settings under Admin => Forum Settings and if you had this set wrong nothing would work. If users can not upload then under admin => edit usergroups you set permissions. I tested this on my test site and it works.

You can PM me details to have a look if you wish. I need both admin and regular logins.

Oh, I found it. It's under Global Options but it's nowhere to be found under Forum Settings or Edit Integration. Hint hint :-)

As strange as it sounds the permissions are working now. Not sure why I didn't change anything today. Oh well, it seems to be working just fine now.

Thanks Chuck.

No problems yeah alot of people with upgrading what I suggest they do is delete any entries under their usergroups table and run install and properly integrate with phpbb3 that way you wont have all these issues of trying to do things manually as I am getting swamped with all the questions.

Hey guys, if you were going to edit the 'forum prefix' inside one of the php files, or rather, restore that file from backup, which one would you use?

THANKS!

Pat

what do you specifically mean by this I am a little confused by your statement especially when your forum table prefix is located in the database settings table setting 83
