Question Installation problems...

Okay, I'm going to install ReviewPost on my website, and integrate it with vBulletin, using the same database as I use for vBulletin.

Now, when configuring the config-inc.php file, just stating that I need to edit the values between the quotes to match my server's settings and my own preferences is not that helpfull for a newbie like me.

Could you please state, which of the values I need to edit, to have it work (integrated with vBulletin & using the same database)?

SGL.

You do not edit the file directly. You would run install.php and answer all the questions correctly. There are explanations on the install to assist you.

Okay, editing the file was part of point 3 in the installation manual, so I thought it had to be done before running the web installation script (point 4).

Now, this seems a bit simpler, but I could still need some help!

Reviewpost Database Host - localhost
Reviewpost Database Name - reviewpost
Reviewpost Database User - root
Reviewpost Database Password -

Is these default values something I will have to change if I want to use the same database as I use for my forum? If so, can you give me a tip where I find those values? (anywhere in the vBulletin admincp?)

User Database Host - localhost (enter the same info as above if not integrating with a third party forum)
User Database Name - reviewpost
User Database User - root
User Database Password -

Since I want to integrate it with vBulletin (which I guess is considered a third party forum) will I have to write something new, or will the info for the ReviewPost Database and User Database be the same?

In the install manual (couldn't figure it out from that), or in the install program (in which case I didn't find it/see it, could you direct me)?

well your database values only you can answer not us. Those are specific to your server. Go ahead if your installing photopost in the same database place your vb database settings in both spots and then go through and run the rest of install and answer the questions.

Sure, but could you give me a little hint on where to find it? Should it be listed somewhere in the admincp or phpinfo f.ex.?

If your integrating with vb and want to install in vbulleting database for reference for others it is the config.php file in the includes directory of vbulletin.
