forum access issue

After logging into review post.
I click on a topic and page simply refreshes.
You cannot enter the topic.

Where to I go to debug this.

No noticable errors occur. Just a refresh without entering topic.

Do you have some sort of redirect going on? Does this happen if you remove the header and footer you have displaying over the application?

bcddd214 May 3rd, 2007 09:13 AM

nothing!

I have verified that no admin settings have changed.
I pulled up the working photogallery admin and put the two side by side to verify everything was the same.
This started the other day by what appear by it's self.
I have checked and rechecked for admin error and nothing appears to be out of place?
Review post just does not want to open up any subject under any user.
Locked up tight!

Since I do not have command line access to the box, I am at a total loss!

Chuck S May 3rd, 2007 10:42 AM

As stated go to your admin and remove your header footer and then see if this behavior continues. Your not giving me much to work with here buddy

bcddd214 May 3rd, 2007 11:56 AM

head and footer deleted, same thing!

I deleted both.

Same issue!

??????

Chuck S May 3rd, 2007 12:09 PM

Remove any htaccess file you have in that directory and download the source code and replace your files. In your admin area what is your reviewpost directory url? It is http://www.colormegorgeous.com/rating right no index.php on the end hopefully

bcddd214 May 3rd, 2007 12:20 PM

Are you saying "to simply overwrite the admin directory"?
I just want to do this correctly!
Yes, the url is /rating
can you elaborate on "right no index.php on the end hopefully"

I have the header and footer backed up in a text file, and I have a previously expanded source in another directory from the other weeks headache I can just copy and paste to the admin directory?

There appears to be no .htaccess in /rating

Thank you my friend!

Brad

You can email us an admin login to support@photopost.com if you choose

Are you sure showcat.php exists on your server and is not corrupt? Have you replaced the core php files except the config files

bcddd214 May 3rd, 2007 01:43 PM

Have not touched a thing!

We got past the other issue from before and everything was running fine for a while, then just stopped working.

I reviewed the administration files for any accidental errors, and nothing.

Hunted around your forums and didn't find anything relevant.

Now here I am with you my friend!

Brad

Chuck S May 3rd, 2007 02:53 PM

Can you respond to and answer my question?

bcddd214 May 3rd, 2007 03:24 PM

?????????????

I don't know if the showcat is ccorrupt?

Haven't touch it.

All I have touch was the cut and paste of the header and footer!

Are you playing with something?

Everything just went down!

Brad

bcddd214 May 3rd, 2007 03:25 PM

showcat.php does exist!

bcddd214 May 3rd, 2007 06:42 PM

Chuck, my friend?????????????????????

Our website is down still!
I have sent you a few emails, did you do something?
Please, talk to me.

Chuck S May 3rd, 2007 08:13 PM

How can I do anything to your site?

I have only visited your site earlier this morning earlier afternoon to look at it via the web

I havent checked the helpdesk for emails this evening so not sure what you have sent us

Now my suggestion still remains the same though. You need to download reviewpost and replace all the files except for the config files

bcddd214 May 3rd, 2007 08:33 PM

Thank you

At least now we know where to look!

Just needed to confirm it wasn't you.

Who knows at this point!

Peace

bcddd214 May 3rd, 2007 10:15 PM

Thanks Chuck!
