Log In Problems?

I've installed Reviewpost and have it set up to use the user database for vbulletin.

I can't log in to the admin panel, or the gallery. It gives me the following error message:
"Invalid login. Please check your username and password" I've doublechecked my password, still no luck.

I have the reviewpost gallery set up in a different domain than the forum, though they're both on the same server. I'm wondering if that's the problem? Is there some kind of cookie issue with two domains? I don't think it's cookies though, since I've run into that before and it logs you in, then you can't stay logged in. This won't even let me log in...

Help! :)

Double check setting 41 in you settings table is vb3. Make sure settings 215-217 I believe are this

cookie path /

cookie prefix bb

cookie domain BLANK

vb must be the same and then in your config-inc.php file the vblicense line must have the correct license number not vb customer number

Fixed one problem, found another...

OK, that allowed me to log in. I didn't have setting 41 to vb3, not sure why.

Now I'm able to log into reviewpost, but it refuses to admit I'm an admin. I logged out, cleared my cookies, and logged back in, still no luck.

Any ideas what's going on there?

well how did up install with what integration? see then your issue is your usergroups table delete every entry except admin and change the groupid of admin to 6 that should get you into admin. Your issue is you did not integrate with vb3 but something else it seems

Thanks for this, I had forgot to enter my VB cookie and wasn't able to get into the Admin area on a fresh install. This thread helped me resolve the issue:)
