error on upgrade from 3.1.1 I just started the upgrade process to go from 3.1.1 to 3.3.1 and had errors on step 2 of the upgrade to 3.2. The errors looked like this: Quote:

BTW I checked the permissions for data and upload directories and all subdirectories under them. All were 777. The good news I guess is that I only had 45 products in the database for review. If this had happened with Photopost I'd be in big trouble. I haven't proceeded to the next step though awaiting a possible solution. Thanks for any help! |
Okay I may have really screwed up here. I had in my forum notes that the last upgrade I did was to 3.1.1 but I just went into the Reviewpost Admin and it says 3.3.1. I must have already upgraded and forgot to change it in my notes! So now I've run steps 1 and tried to run step 2 of the 3.1.1 upgrade and now my photos aren't showing up. Is there a fix for this stupidity? :o Note to self...always check the version number in the Admin before starting an upgrade. Duh! |
Now I'm getting this error in Admin: Quote:

And this error when I select one of the products: Quote:

Another note to self....don't do upgrades when you haven't had much sleep. :p It occurred to me that that since I had uploaded edited config-inc.php and config-intr.php files that the Reviewpost version number (3.3.1) would be changed in the Admin. So perhaps I hadn't run the upgrade script after all. So I uploaded a new upgrade.php file and went through all the steps . I still had the same errors as in the initial post in 3.1.1 upgrade step 2. All other steps completed without errors. The above posted errors in Admin now seem to have disappeared. All the thumbs on the Reviewpost home page are not showing up, but over half of the photos for the actual product reviews do show up. I tried to run rebuild thumbs, etc. in Admin but got errors. I'm not sure how to get the thumbs back for the main page. Is this thoroughly confusing now or do you have any suggestions. :) |
Just tried to upload a replacement photo for one of the products and received this error: Quote:

Sorry for the blog here, but I fixed it! It was permissions. For some reason the 'large' and 'thumbs' subfolders of folder '2' were not being set to '777'. I thought I checked it last night but apparently skipped over that one. :) |
Yep you got it ;) You can restore a copy of the products table and rerun the upgrade to get products back as well |
