Step 4 MySQL error - help, please

I am battling bravely through my attempt at installing Review Post and have found answers to all issues encountered so far in the forum.

Until now!

I am now getting just one remaining error reported when running step 4 of the installation:

mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in ....../public_html/reviewpost/forums/photopost.php on line 311

Please help! Presumably, I need help before I try and click for the next step - so would appreciate a quick response, please

So your installing Reviewpost with integration into a Photopost database?

Basically that error is telling me either you entered the incorrect database info on the config to connect to the photopost database and or on step 4 where you are asked for the mysql table prefix of photopost you did not enter it.

Hi Chuck

Thanks for your rapid response.

I am not integrating into a Photopost database (as far as I know). I have opted to integrate with an existing vBulletin database for users, but for Reviewpost to also have its own database for whatever it needs to store.

The two database names and separate users have been entered correctly in the config file.

The only question I am seeing in step 4 relating to prefixes is in respect of my "Forums database table prefix". I have no idea whether there is one. If that is the issue, how could I find out, please?

Check that - I just looked in my vBulletin CP, in the repair / optimise tables section. If I'm understanding it correctly, it seems that the forum tables have vb_ in front of them. I'm also guessing this is the default setting, because if I enter that in the Reviewpost installation process, I still get the exact same reported error.

Argh! Just realised there was a drop down option at the top of step 4 for choosing forum for integrating with. Sorry! Choosing VB3 got rid of that error, but gave me a new one:

mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in ...../public_html/reviewpost/forums/vb3.php on line 448

(for which the code seems to be virtually identical as previously)

Yahoooo! Wayhay!!! etc, etc

Added the vb_ to the prefix field and got through all OK. Although most of my replies have been to myself, your answer got me pointed in the right direction. Thanks again.
