ReviewPost and VB 3 insall problem

Hello,

I am running Windows 2003 server.

PHP 5 and MySqL 4.1

I have chosen to install review post into the same vb database

I have installed VB 3.5 to http://www.golfvideolessons.com/forum

I am able to log in and post no problem.

Then I installed ReviewPost and have set it to integrate with vb 3.

AFter completing the install script it tells me to go to the adm-index.php page. I try to log in with my admin user and password from vb 3 and it tells me invalid login and brings me to the regular index.php page for review post.

It also doesnt have any of the forum links set correctly...

They all link to the top level instead of /forum. I am actually having the same problem with Photopost, and in photopost I am able to get to the admin console and I have the forum URL set correctly, and it is still not working :(

Mike

Do you have phpmyadmin?

What does setting 41 in the reviewpost settings table say is it vb3?

Did you enter the correct vbulletin license number in the config-inc.php file when installing as your login will not authenticate in vb3 without this.

let me check these with the MySqL control center....

I do have PHPMyAdmin though if you would like to inspect stuff...

The setting 41 is set to vb3
and the license # is in the config-inc.php and it matches the entry from the forum index.php exactly.

that\'s interesting, now the reviewpost index.php page says hello admin, but I still cannot access the adm-index.php

golfmonke June 25th, 2006 07:30 PM

that may be because I logged into the photopost with the same browser, which logged me into the forum...

In your vbulletin admin settings the url to your forum was incorrect. You should be fine now
