Error adding new categoryu to the database.

Since upgrading to the April 2006 version of ReviewPost a few days ago, I just now tried unsuccessfully to add a category. I get the following 2 error messages:

Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /var/www/html/subs/forums/reviews/pp-inc.php on line 1945

Error adding new category to the database. Returned id was 0.


Also, I noticed that the radio buttons what were previously on the add category menu below the category name box were missing.

Any ideas?

I would suggest you ensure you upload all the main PHP files except the config files and continue, then if you still get this issue report exactly what your doing and trying to add.

This is definately something I can not replicate here. I have added top level cats and subcats without fail.

I re-uploaded the latest files and found that did not fix the problem.

However, I realized that I had totally missed running the upgrade.php file for an upgrade two upgrades ago. By running upgrade.php for the last two upgrades, that fixed the problem.
