Config.inc clarification

I run 3.11 now.
I am trying to go to 3.3

I looked at the Config.inc in both and many of the stuff in 3.11 are not in 3.3.

Do I have a corrupt download or the 3.3 Config.inc is less than half of what it was in 3.11?

No your config file is fine. Just means you never viewed it in admin and saved it and it would have been wrote in the new format. Alot of the settings in config where moved to admin in 3.0

Ah, so if i do that before the upgrade, it should save the data to db - and then I can overwrite it with the 3.3 version properly filled out of course? Sounds good. Thanks.

Your info would already be in the database if your on 3.11. The config file would not be updated until you went into admin and saved it.
