Upgraded to 3.2 but now whos online stats does not appear

Just completed upgrading from 3.11 to 3.2 of Reviewpost. Followed upgrade instructions and so far everything appears to be working correctly except works except "whos online stats" is no longer appearing under the category bar.

I do have the "Under Category Bar Display Recent Comments and Who's Online Pals" set to "yes" under sidebar options in the admin panel. The recent reviews are appearing but it is now displaying almost the full length of the category bar.

I have no idea where to begin to try and fix this. Can anyone offer any advise as to how I can fix this and get the "whos online stats" displaying again?

Appreciate any help and suggestions

The who's online STATS BOX at bottom is only going to appear in any of our products when the undercats pal is OFF

Chuck,

As you suggested, I changed the "Under Category Bar Display Recent Comments and Who's Online Pals" to "NO".

Now nothing appears under the Category Bar except the Randon Pictures Feature Box. I have attached a cropped view of the before and after screens with the setting OFF on one side and ON, on the other side.

As you can see the "Who's Online" does not appear regardless of with the "Under Category Bar Display Recent Comments" setting is "YES" or "NO".

When I upgraded, I did upload and replace all php scripts and complete templates directory but left the styles directory as is.

Any idea why the "Who's Online" box does not display under the Category Bar?

Let me go through this again.

If you use the undercats pal to YES the who's online shows in the undercats pal if it is on. If you turn the undercats off the who's online will show on the old style stats box as noted.

Choose which way you want.

With the undercats pal set to YES, the last reviews posted box shows but the who's online porton does not show at all. This is not correct because the who's online should display as well like it did beore the upgrade and as it does in Photopost and Classifieds.

With the undercats pal set to NO, the last reviews and who's online under cat boxes does not show at all. I beleive this is correct.

To be clear, I am not refering to any side boxes but specifically about the boxes that appear under the main category bar index, which is the same column as the most recent product and random features boxes appear.

Chuck that is exactly how it used to appear before I upgraded. Since upgrading the recent reviews are appearing but it is now displaying recent reviews almost the full length of the category bar without a who's online section. That is what I am now trying to fix so it will once again display as in the site you listed.

If it is displaying recent reviews the whole length you have got to have a modified template. I am using a clean unmodified undercat-sidebar template.

Clearly there is the call to onlinepal.tmpl. Try reuploading all clean templates

Your template shows the call to it so if you say its on then it should display and it does in every reviewpost I see.

The template is there and looks fine so then your issue is your $whosonline is empty so then why is this. If you view the iponline table using phpmyadmin what is in there?

Try reuploading all the files except config files.

Thanks chuck, already started upgrading the PHP scripts, hope that solves it.

Forgot to mention we also have VBulletin...something i should look at?...already upgraded the /forums dir php's

I would suggest you make sure all php scripts are new

The vb3.php file clearly has the get_whosonline function in it. In your index.php file is this

Clearly as well $whosonline is populated as long as online pal in the sidebar options is set to on and get_whosonline function grabs the users
