vb 3.0.7 to 3.5.0 then rp 2.91 to 3.11

as you can see,
http://www.tech-unity.com/reviewpost/index.php
I can view the reviews, and it is integrated, but

I can not log into the admin area for some reason.

I realize it is probably a cookie issue, but I opened the old config-inc.php file to make sure it is the same setting and it is.

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
any ideas would be greatly apriciated

Thank you

Hello Reviewpost does not store cookies settings in the config file. If you had the correct variables in there they should have been imported on upgrade.

I suggest you view in phpmyadmin the reviewpost settings table settings 213-215 and verify the cookie settings. Most likely your cookie prefix is not set

I thought I was careful with the instal, but just had the same problem. It effected log in over all the photopost and vb3 programs.

I have gone to the reviewpost database, rp_settings table (my prefix), line 215, and changing setting to bb (cookie prefix in my case) and changing section from 13 to 12.

Still seems to have problems
!

well what would be interesting is to know why your cookie settings are in section 12 not 13. On the upgrade for reviewpost when they where added to the database they show section 13 in the upgrade script

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
I think alot of people with PhotoPost products tend to overwrite or upgrade there config files with each version when they upgrade which in the case of the upgrade docs which say never to do this resulted in none of the information being written to the database which is why it was not there.

You always leave your old config file when you upgrade and then if you go in afterwards you can always edit view and save your config file to make it be written to the new format.

should I be changing all three of my photopost program cookie info to be similar to the settings in the window you, line 13? etc.

I can find path to cookies and cookie domain in the vb3 options.

Your cookie domain in vb seems to be set to teambuick.com not .teambuick.com

You set cookies in vb in admin cookie settings

I just checked the settings in the vb admincp and it is set to .teambuick.com

When the cookie is set in my computer the first dot should be showing?

My section number should be 12?

Yes it should show the dot in the cookie

Now what is this about section 12. No in Reviewpost it is section 13 and thats where the 2.9 upgrade places the cookie settings.
