Show list of products on /reviews/index.php

In Reviewpost 3.11 /reviews/index.php I'd like to actually have the products listed (Product 1, Product 2... in my example):

Category 1
Sub category 1
Product 1
Product 2
Sub category 2
Product 1
Product 2

How can I acheive this?

set your catdepth to say 3 in admin index options

'Depth (number of levels) of categories to display' was set to 3 - I've even tried 10 and still it doesn't list the individual products.

Its not going to list individual products thats showcat index is just a catlist

Is there anyway to easily alter this? In a case where there's only two or three categories with a handful of products in each it seems like a waste of time and bandwidth (with the 'extra' unnecessary page being generated) not to list the products.

Sorry it is not how the product is designed.

Index shows the categories.

You click a category to go to showcat

that shows the list of products for that category

I appreciate what you're saying but in this case (a handful of categories and products) it doesn't take in to account end user useability / practicality.
