Upgrade v2.9 to v3.11 - & is now being shown as &amp - Page 2

The current version of the program is 3.3. I dont even have a 3.1 to test on. I would thus suggest you upgrade to the current build and we can go from there. As I have shown urls in extra fields work at least from what I can see testing on my site.

I am at RP3.3 - my previous post just mentioned that I had the same problem ( & being shown as & ) when I previously upgraded to 3.11.

The other thing I have noticed using the new 'product extra fields' if I upload a new product and put any data in that's made up of BBcode when the page refreshes to show the product, the data fields will be blank. If I edit the product the data isn't there - in other words BBcode 'data strings' aren't getting written to the rp_productextras table.

The way around this is to first upload a new product and just put 'regular text' in these fields, then edit the product and put in my BBcode. When the page refreshes to show the product my 'BBcode data' will be there.

bbcode is not usually parsed in those fields but there is a post here where I note how to change that

I've already made that change to showproduct - that makes text appear bold, etc but it's not parsing it properly... & is being shown as & when I use URL (BBcode command) and it's not being understood by a browser when the link get's clicked on. See post 20 in this thread.

well try adding this line in bold to showproduct.php. we took out the convert_markups function because of this issue
