What are the steps to upgrade from 2.9 to 3.11?

Sorry, I've never done a few versions at once... is there a sequence to follow here? (2.9 to 3.0 to 3.1)

Which files should I upload prior to running the upgrade?

Thanks in advance..

The upgrade instructions are within the documentation folder

Basically you need to upload all files except config-inc.php and run the upgrade 2.9-3.0 and 3.0-3.1

Thanks Chuck.
The upgrade.txt file didn't seem right, but the changeslist.txt was helpful.

Upgrade went very smooth. :)

I did notice that the form field box for 'Positive aspects of the product (pros):' has the word 'array' in it.

That's it so far..

EDIT - when I click on a member from the memberlist it shows all their products but the review column says 'no review' even though they did a review.

My ReviewPost upgrade from 2.9 to 3.11 went smoothly :-)

Settings like 'directory for backups' and 'path to mysqldump' that were previously in the config-inc.php file haven't been copied in to the databse.

Did you overwrite your old config with a new one ;) that would explain that

Yes I did... should I assume then that it's best to always keep the old config file there? (I guess so - particulalrly if setting are being moved from the config file in to the database.)

In upgrading from v2.9 to v3.11 I 've noticed that the line spacing problem has been sorted where an extra line was being thrown in at the end of every paragraph or carriage return.

A new problem is that & is now being shown as & and " as "

Yes upgrade says never to overwrite the config ;)

As far as & etc you need to open a thread and post examples info so I can assist
