Anyone??

Chuck S September 30th, 2005 01:18 PM

well we shall have to do testing for sure.

You have two outstanding issues that no one else has reported.

Your comments in the comments box on all products are in your header instead of the box in IE but not Mozilla

And this in reviewpost

My biggest issue is trying to find out what is causing it and trying to replicate it to come up with a solution. I am unable to do so thus far.

Crow September 30th, 2005 02:18 PM

Just deleted the old reviewpost and its DB.. Did a fresh install and the problem is the same that it was...

I have to say I'm VERY dissapointed in this companys products (PhotoPost/ReviewPost) lately. waste of $200 if you ask me..
(You do refunds?)

Chuck S September 30th, 2005 02:21 PM

I am sorry your disappointed but we are trying to assist you here as you know.

This is not an issue no one else is reporting so we need to work with you and see what the specific issue is on your server that is conflicting so we can make a change in the code if needed.

You have owned our products for years it looks like to me. Given time and testing I am sure we can find your unique issue but with any issue it is all a matter of trying to find the exact issue.

I have sent you an email asking for database info so I can see your database to know what is going on

I already have the ftp info

Yes, your right I've owned this for years and just lately the products have gone to s$%t..

I'll e-mail ya the info after this post...

This is a fresh install and heres what I see on the index.php.

Chuck S September 30th, 2005 06:24 PM

Well even though I could not replicate this issue I found out your problem was in your categories table your children field replicated over and over which caused your issue

Crow September 30th, 2005 10:25 PM

I just noticed that the "Post a review" is missing. Did you remove it or something?

Chuck S October 1st, 2005 08:39 AM

Remember I have not been on your install ;)

Your host deleted your account or something and your site does not exist for me yet. No nitro powered here

No worries if you have any issues whenever your domain becomes active to the world I will help ya out.

Crow October 1st, 2005 05:29 PM

I told you they didn't delete my account.. I guess the server box between the net and the file server died and thats why you were getting the 500 error.. The sites back up, could we pick up were we left off now?

Chuck S October 1st, 2005 06:33 PM

well I dont beleive you have any errors or issues left

Just the inc_reviews.php :p

Thanks for all your work you've done..Now fix my inc_reviews.php or I'll bug ya! :D :p

Chuck S October 1st, 2005 07:17 PM

what do you mean fix your inc_reviews issue?

You reported two issues and I beleive both have been addressed.

Is there some other issue?

On inc_reviews.php there is no bug

Have you set it up according to this thread

as soon as I add the include to my index.php my forums take a long time to load and it only shows a white page...
no error or nothing.

too bad that VB PP RP are all in the same MySQL DB

Chuck S October 1st, 2005 07:52 PM

I would suggest your double check the path and see if you get any errors or anything that would help me suggest something to you.

It surely works I use the inc_features and inc_reviews on my site here

I've checked and double checked all settings..:(
btw why can\'t I start a thread in the forsale section of your site?? I would like to see if anyone in my are would like to buy my stand and canopy.

Crow October 1st, 2005 08:04 PM

Well the cat errors back.. I went to add a new cat and it started making doubles again!! :(

Chuck S October 1st, 2005 08:30 PM

You\'ll have to explain in detail every step your doing. Every step along the way

I add a new cat to your site and its fine. It is nothing I can replicate even on your install.
