Question Why are my Categories names not showing up?

This is my 3rd time installing today and I cannot get my category names to show! Anyone have any ideas? The site is www.powerstrokeforum.com/reviews

If you look at the category that says "This is the Sub Category", its a sub category of the category above it, but why isnt it acting like it? It shouldnt be sold blue like that.

I also keep getting this error on install step 3:

Quote:
Step 3: MySQL error reported: [INSERT INTO rp_cache VALUES (1,null,null,null,null,null,null,null,null)]
Result: Column 'timestamp' cannot be null
Database: powerstroke_db
But it always lets me continue without anymore errors.

Please help!

Thanks,

Lem

this in install should be this

$query[] = "INSERT INTO {$rp_db_prefix}cache VALUES (1,'',null,null,null,null,null,null,null)";

You can insert that by hand if you want in the cache table or run the upgrade script and select 3.0 upgrade

I dont know what you mean about categories looks to me like your purposely setting both categories to parent categories that contain no thumbnails so I would ask what is everyone going to upload to?

Exclamation

Ok, I've tried re-installing and doing the upgrade several times, and Im getting a zillion of the same category. Why?! Check it out www.powerstrokeforum.com/reviews.
I only have 2 sub categories and its giving me 30 of the same one. I've re-installed and tried upgrades in different combinations and it keeps giving me multiple sub categories.

Here is picture of all that I have in my admin panel:

Let me know what you think.

Thanks!!!

Redownload the build and just for the sake of trying it again try running upgrade.php and do upgrade to 3.0

I know we added the cache build on install but try running the upgrade to rebuild the cache

well not without looking at your install personally nope as it should work fine if the cache exists. what happens if in admin global options you set cache time to 0

By the way you need to upload all the files to your install. Your missing your language file

The reason it gave you that warning is because I was in the middle of another install. I cant get this thing to work. Now, after I added a third category, it doesnt show at all! Aack. I tried the Cache to 0. That did nothing. What next?
