Upgrade from 2.91 >>301 is FUBAR... help!

Help please!

after uploading the new files and running upgradefrom 2.91 i got many errors from upgrade.php?upgrade=29&step=1
(PATH removed here where SNIP is)

well the unlink errors are no big deal it means you dont have permissions to delete them by a script you need to remove those files by hand

Now the one error you note has nothing to do with the upgrade to 3.01. The categories thumbnail column was added to reviewpost in 2.8 so run the 2.5-2.8 upgrade and you should be fine

Thanks Chuck! Seems to be working now.

The "upgrade" seems to have alot of new files and old unused files... Is there a list of files that can be DELETED? or can i delete any file in the root directory not dated today? I'd like to tidy up the /reviews folder. Thanks

Yes you can view the upgrade script and all those unlink's are old files that are to be deleted

You should be cool to delete files not dated today

I consolidated alot of scripts and there are alot of old unneeded files for sure
