Older reviewpost with VB3 reg system.

I thought when I upgraded my forum to 3.0.7 I checked ureviews, but I guess I didn't try logging in or it was cached. Anyway, now when I try to login it gives the error:

Invalid login. Please check your username and password, or register.

What do I need to change from using this same reviewpost on a 2.0.x vb forum reg system to a 3.0.7 reg system? I see in phpmyadmin the table "User Registration System" and it's current setting is "2.0.3". What do I replace it with and is this the only thing I need to change for it to begin working with the new install?

Also, I was interested in getting the thumbnails and titles to appear on my forum pages. Is this possible? The photopostdev site shutdown so I thought I would ask while I'm here trying to get it to work with vb3.x

Thank you.

vb2 integration should read vb2 not 2.03

When I changed it to vb2 or vb3 I got a mysql error. As soon as I changed it back to 2.0.3 it worked again. Just the frontpage, not the original problem of logging in though. Here's the table info of the table I was changing:

id title varname description setting optionorder section
41 User Registration System vbversion 2.0.3 304 1

I don't have vb2 anymore though, so whatever I need to change it should be for vb3.

Is there another table I need to change or do I need to change the table mentioned above to something other than vb3?

Keep in mind you need to have the proper database info in the config. You need to have the proper integration type and table prefix in the settings table.

There is nothing wrong with the vb2 file as it is near identical to the same as photopost less usergroup stuff

why are you meantioning vb3??

If you have an issue then you would need to post the exact problem so we can assist.

Yes we already know your vb2 is modified so you need to modify your login stuff passwords

I Have Virtual Bulletin 3.0.7! I Do Not Have 2. What do I need to change so review post works with VB3? I currently get a "Invalid login. Please check your username and password, or register." error.

Hello

If you switched from vb2 to vb3 then you need to alter your config files to point to the proper database info enter the vb3 license number etc. You then need to set reviewpost to obviously integrate with vb3 not vb2

I looked through the config-inc.php reviewpost config file. My forum database mysql name password and login are all set correct, they actually weren't changed. I did notice one thing, I don't have the line for the vb3 license number. If this is an older install of reviewpost will it have problems using the vb3 user system? If so, please let me know ASAP as my reviewpost license has expired and if I need to renew I would like to take advantage of that $15 renew that expires on the 12th.

Thanks.
