installation help

ok brand new to this, downloaded, unzipped, uploaded however the config-ini.php file i'm supposed to edit confuses me completely...

exactly which lines need to be modified and where/how do i find that information to use.

we'd like to integrate the message forum database we already use for registration user ids and passwords but i'm not sure how i find the paths to make the changes to the config file...

also ran the phpinfo file and it says we have GD 2.0. software installed already thus i figured i wouldn't have to use imagemagik however we get an error saying something about the mogify, but we don't want to use imagemagik if we don't have to...

HELP?

You would need to run the install.php script to install things.

This page should help you with install. You would select gd2 on install

"Could not connect to or create the ReviewPost database. Be sure your user has permissions to CREATE or create a blank table before hitting REFRESH." is the error I get...

where it says reviewpost database and it has the name as reviewpost do i leave that there and then below it where it says user database do i put in the name of the database that we use for the message forum?

You would need to enter the correct mysql information to install this. That means host username password and database name as setup on your server

well as i mentioned in my email to you vicki paid for the installation service. i'm just trying to figure it out before hand but it doesn't look like i will. any idea when we can get the service done?
