Need some help custmozing Hello everyone, Before I install this one my live site, I need help with customizing things within the review sections, if anyone can help me out, it'd be greatly appriciated. First: I dont see a place to change, or Recommend a product I just posted a review for. Second: I post a product, and log out and log in as another user and I dont see a place to comment on the review I just posted. Third: There is a place, for posting the price of a product, Actually it says "Average price" within the product page, but I see no place to change that when editing the product. Where is that at? Forth: Where do you rate Items, I see no place to do that, but, it is in the product page as well, in the box, "Average Rating" Fifth: How do I customize the PAL's 1) I want to set up a menu for things like Search, My Products, "Add an Item", Home 2) I'd like to set up a little block that will show say the latest 5 posts on the forums any help with these things would be greatly appriciated. Thank you |
I found the problem with reviewing a product, that was usergroup permissions. Also to rate you have to review. :p This is where the average price comes about :p I still need help with the layout changes, if anyone can help thank you |
I found another thing, in the center just below the ratings, I see a link to resellerratings.com, Can this be changed to use Amazon.com? |
You would need to alter the code in showproduct.php for resellerratings to point to amazon and whatever format that needs to be. To create a menu simply create an html list in one of the custom pal boxes in edit templates and call it menu To show a photo block on the forum try searching http://www.photopostdev.com for a thumbnailer hack for reviewpost |

I already had a module in mind for the homepage, there is one over at vbAdvanced and it worked perfectly, but, thats not what I ment Within the reviewpost index, in a custompal, I'd like to get lets say the latest 4 or 5 posts from the regular forums. How would I do that? |
I got it working with a Javascript To see what I meant, as I think I was probably confusing, go here http://www.tech-unity.com/reviewpost/ Left hand side, look at "Recent Forum Posts" Thank you very much, As this is an excellent product ;) And you have been a big help omegatron ;) |
