HTML in Product Descriptions

We're testing our new install and when we try to enter HTML code in a new product the code appears to be escaped out.

I assume it is escaped out as that is likely a security risk. We'll be the only folks who will be adding new products on our site. Is there a way to allow the addition of HTML for new products?

We only want to enable it for products and not for reviews since outside users will be adding reviews so if answers could confirm that it is only for products, that would be great.

Thanks.

Find the references to fixmessages and comment out those lines

example

$desc = fixmessages($desc);

would become

//$desc = fixmessages($desc);

Thanks.

Is that in a specific file?

If so, I assume that would only affect the products and not the reviews, correct?
