Error on upgrade

Just tried to upgrade to 2.9.

I've got a few problems.

During the upgrade got an error message

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
Even so, everything seemed to be working OK except:

Can't see the latest product thumbnails on the homepage.

Get the following error message when trying to view a product:

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
Any help getting this working would be appreciated.

Hi, "unlink" is the fancy PHP word for 'delete' all the upgrade was trying to do was remove files that were no longer needed, you can remove those manually if you wish.

with the showproduct error have you tried creating a new product from scratch to see if the error persists? - this maybe a bug, if so this thread will be check and appropriate action taken to rectify this error.

Hi Toney,

Thanks for your reply.

The error still persists when I try to upload a new product.

Well, could be a bug which may have been squashed with a newer version

However - if your integrating with a forum did you forget to upload your forums file? - i.e /forums/vb3.php

Hi Toney,

I've tried uploading the files twice. I even deleted the files and reinstalled them. I'm also using the latest version.

Do you know which file calls vb3.php? - if I can locate that file I can check it's working properly.

Hi..

I think vb3.php must be included maybe via the main reviewpost engine (pp-inc.php) - i'd reupload all in your forums directory, it should solve this problem.

Hi,

I still have this problem if anyone else can help. I tried upgrading using the 2.91 files but still got the same problems.

The error is fixed if I upload the old version 2.8 pp-inc.php file - I get both the images and the showproduct errors fixed.

I'm sure this must be caused by me not uploading some important file but I've checked and checked and can't see what I've missed.

Thanks,

Chris

Hello

Delete the forums subdirectory and reupload the directory or delete your single integration file and reupload. The convert_markups function is within that file in the new files and moved from pp-inc.php so this means you still have an old file on your server and not the new one.

Still doesn't fix it I'm afraid. Please tell me which file calls the vb3.php include file - I can't see it in showproduct.php.

Thanks,

Chris

There is nothing I can suggest here as your error clearly states you do not have the proper file uploaded. The integration file is called in pp-inc.php

Your integration file must have convert_markups function in it. The only files did not but the latest ones do. If that function is not found it means you have not uploaded the new file.

OK - I've fixed this now. I had uploaded the files correctly but I made an error in the path to reviewpost installation. I don't know why this didn't cause a problem with the old version of pp-inc.php but anyway it works now.
