unregistered can post when permissions say no

I'm using reviewpost 2.8.2 with vb3 integration. I have checked the usergroup settings and the category permissions, and all say that unregistered cannot post. However, an unregistered person added reviews to several products tonight.

How can I fix this?

Does support check here or do we have to contact them by email? Maybe I am not going about this the right way.
