vB3/RP Single Signon

Is it just me or does RP not support single signon?

When I login to vB and I visit RP, I am not automatically logged in. I have to "Login" manually.

I've experienced the conflicting cookies thing, and wasn't able to log in to RP without dumping my cookies. This seems like a shortcoming in the vB integration.

Any advice?

You would need to consult this FAQ thread

http://www.photopost.com/members/for...01#post1080901

You do not have your cookies aligned to your cookie settings in VB and or do not have your VB License number entered correctly. This is very important if you want an integrated login.

I reviewed that post and all cookie settings match betweek RP and VB.

I can log into either seperetly by when jumping from one another I am not signed in on the other. RP is useing vb's database and users but the single sign on is not working.

any ideas?

Did you double-check your vB3 license number and make sure it isn't a customer number? This is very important - the number is located at the top of your index.php file in your vb3 directory and should look like this in your config-inc.php:

$vblicense = "12345678";

They definetly match exactly.
If I am loggen into vb and switch to RP it does not show me loggen in but if I click the register link in RP it tells me I am already registered.

We have the same problem.

vB 3.0.3 and Photopost 4.8.5. (we had it on 4.8.2 also)

I am not automatically logged into photopost and when I log in I usually get logged out of vbulletin.

We solved the problem by setting the cookie prefix to "bb"
