| Have I missed a link?
Hi all,
I'm new here so please forgive anything I have missed, or for asking daft questions!
I've got a copy of ReviewPost 2.5 which was formally working in harmony with VB2, which has been upgraded to VB3.
I see there are some helpful FAQ's and other threads, which seem to link to a thread about a conversion utility for the upgrade due to the new login methods.
However, when on that thread I cannot find this 'download' for the conversion utility.
I also seem to go in circles when trying to find somewhere to download an actual copy of the latest version of ReviewPost?
Have I missed some links somewhere?

My apologies, I just realised I posted this in the wrong sub-forum too!

well you basically need to go to your settings table and convert setting 41 to vb3
You can then follow the rest of the VB3 integration FAQ
As far as your download link you need to go to the members area and download it from there. If you have a link your access has most likely expired and if you want to download a copy you would need to renew your members access

That is your header and I would suspect by that problem your iponline table is corrupt and you need to run a repair on it via phpmyadmin
Make sure to run the upgrade script if you have not as this could be the issue.

Ok, my silly error I didnt run one of the upgrade scripts
Its working again, but leaves me with the same error I had originally though - which is why we tried to upgrade...
We upgraded to VB3 a while ago and since then we have been unable to correctly use the login facility... it seems that it recognises that the users exist as you cannot re-register them, but it also does not recognise the passwords to allow users to actually log in?
Your help so far has been very good, my apologies to be one of those clueless newbies |

As per the VB Integration FAQ you need to enter your VB license number in the reviewpost config

The VB code has already been entered into the config-inc.php file...?
I have confirmed the code does work, via our copy of PhotoPost 4.8.2, which we also use and does currently work with our VB3 login. I have also double checked the table names and login credentials as well between the two config files?

Doh!
You've got the nail there.. the cookie prefix variable was different between PP and RP!
Now its giving me permission problems, but after a sucessful login! I think I can sort it from here - but no doubt you'll be the first to know if I cant
A very big thanks for all the help (and patience!)
