2.81 Upgrade Problem

I purchased the script when it was 2.52, and installed it as such. It was completely working, and then I updated to 2.81, ran the upgrade script, and everything. Now if there are reviews in a post, I cannot view it and get the following error message:

MySQL error reported!

Script: showproduct

Query: SELECT username, homepage, posts, joindate, location FROM users WHERE userid=2 LIMIT 1

Result: Table databasename.users' doesn't exist

Database handle: Resource id #1

Since then we've redone the database and installed a fresh copy of 2.81, but still receive the error message. I don't really want to use an older version and hope that this is easily fixed. Thanks in advance for your help!

Looks to me like your mysql info is wrong

This is an internal install right?

Check to see if your connecting to the right user database info?

It's an internal install. I've checked several times to make sure that the information in config-inc.php is correct, and the entire script did work in 2.52. I thought at first I had simply upgraded incorrectly, but just this morning we wiped the database clean and did a fresh install of 2.81, and we get this error. In case I need to just go with 2.52, where are the logs that show what all has changed in between those versions? Thanks again for your prompt help!
