Admin Panel is messed up.

The admin panel is a little messed up. My admin panel consists of only the following.

Do you have ability to use PHPMYADMIN? What are you integrating with?

sorry I decided to reinstall it so I download the latest 2.8.1 but when i configured everything and ran well this is what all i did.

1. unzipped.
2. uploaded to /root/rp
3. created a database and user to it w/ pass
4. configured my config-inc.php file (checked it a billion times)
5. chmod the folders
6. edited the header-inc.php
7. ran the install...
8. everything is going smoothly till... install.php?step=2
9. when i get to this page it says... reviewpost.sql is missing. Please restart with file in same directory as install.php | although this file is there (checked it a billion times to see correct spelling and such.)
10. cried.

What's the deal. am I missing something. I chmoded the sql file also to various combos but nothing. PLEASE HELP I HAVE A DEADLINE I WOULD LIKE TO MEET

If indeed the file does exist this may be a weird server config thing. I have seen it once or twice. A file in the same directory is not recognized

Find this in install.php

if ( file_exists( "reviewpost.sql") ) {
$filearray = file( "reviewpost.sql" );

change it to something like this

if ( file_exists( "/path/to/reviewpost.sql") ) {
$filearray = file( "/path/to/reviewpost.sql" );

In your reviewpost usergroups table the entry for administrator. It should have a groupid of 6 and a cpaccess value of 1
