Pictures not showing?

I picked GD2 since I didn't have Imagemagik and wasn't ready to shell out 45 dollars for the guys to install it on the server and I was told I wasn't able to do that. Anyways so yeah the pictures aren't showing up! Do I not have GD2? And how would I find out if needed to? The installation said it was successful in finding it. Okay just checked the ftp to make sure the file was jpg someone told me that could be the problem, but I can't even find the image on the server... I need help

Check the Show PHP Info page in your Admin section and check to see if your version supports GD.

How about posting a link to your site? Do you have on-the-fly watermarks enabled? If so, turn them off.
