Unusual cookie problem

All,

Trying to get PP to work with VB 3.0.1 - having a slight drama with the admin access.

CP access and usergroup ID set to 1 and 6 respectivly, allowing me to log in to PP as an administrator and see the Admin link at the top of the screen. From this I assume that the user permissions are working correctly.

OK, now, when I click on the Admin link, it takes me straight back to the log in screen ! When I log in as the Admin, I get to the main page, again with the Admin link at the top of the page.

It is almost like it is forgetting who I am; perhaps a cookie problem . . . ?

Has anyone come across this before ?

If so, any help or guidance would be appreciated !

Instructions for the images: I log in (see 1.jpg) and get redirected to 2.jpg
when I click on Admin link, it takes me back to 1.jpg
