New Cust. Cant access members + IPB question

Hi,

Just purchased Review Post yesterday to install on my Linux web service, mysql, and Invisipn Power Board. Going to integrate it. I also want to have a photo thumbnail of each product within Review Post. Coupla questions..

1. Is there usually a delay before my new username and password will let me in the members area to download the software ? I cant get in from any computer. Acts like my pwd is wrong but I am not typing it wrong.

2. I assume this supports IPB because I saw mention of it but no official documentation says anything about IPB. I am running the latest purchased version of IPB.

3. Will I have to install Imagick or something before Review Post will support a photo of the product? I assume so. I was having a tiny bit of trouble seeing where to download it. Any tricks?

Thanks!
LB

P.S. I can use my issued username and pass to access the link that brings me here. But that same user/pass still wont work to get to members.pl that I am supposed to download from.

Hi LB!
1 - This is a company issue, I'm just a customer like you.
2 - Yes, it does. I'm using it (as well as PP also) with IPB 1.3.
Be advised that until IPB 2.0 is final and PP/RP are updated, you can't run RP with any of the IPB 2.0 PDRs.
3 - No. Usually PHP comes packed with GD 2 so you can use it with GD. I'm not sure but I believe that GD doesn't support GIF files, so unless you need to upload GIFs, you won't need ImageMagik.
If you need GIFs, just ask your host if they have ImageMagik installed. You can't install it yourself unless you are running the server.

Ricardo

PS: forgot you are new to PP lingo =)
PP = Photopost
RP = Reviewpost

You should be able to go to

http://69.93.248.140/members/members.pl

then type in your access

the DNS has not updated for reviewpost yet

FYI, not able to get any response from sales or customer service emails it two days. Not a good thing. Seems like there would be a backup plan for supplying the product ?

Now I get to the place I edit the doman name then click save and the next browser window asks for user and password for photopost members area and refuses to accept by credentials and basically gets the same error as before.

UPDATE:
After failing in to get through that additional authentication after editing the domain on the download page. I just kept trying to go back to the previous page with the IPaddress/members/member.pl and it finally let me in and the values I edited were in place so I was able to see a download link and get the software. Kinda difficult. I hope they get it worked out or fixed. I am through this hurdle.

Thanks
LB
