| Mod Access
In the usergroup area, there are settings for Admin and Mod Access.
Admin access works fine.
Mod access seems to work fine as well, but those with only mod access do not seem to get a "Mod" or "Admin" link to the more limited mod control panel. I'd like to allow my moderators to approve reviews/comments, but not have complete admin access.
I have given them the direct URL link to the approve comments page ( http://www.carseatmoms.com/reviewpost/adm-misc.php?admact=modcom )and that works fine for them, but it would be nice to have a Mod/Admin link for those with mod access on the navbar in the future. Thanks!

That is totally related to using the vb4 navbar. You can go to your navigation manager make the same link to our admin panel under the gallery navigation call it MOD same url as admin just use the show permission modcplink.
I believe thats the mod show permission if not I would have to do some research.

Hi-
Right, it's the same link for either one, but what I meant to say is that even the Admin link doesn't appear by default for those having moderator access in ReviewPost, only to those with admin access.
Whether you call it MOD or Admin, it would be nice for it to appear to both so that moderator access people can find it more easily.

Correct because that link has show permissions of admincplink
That is why I suggested you make a Mod Link with the show permissions of modcplink
Now your admin4photopost account is still active so I made the link for you that I suggested above for you to do. See is a mod link appears for your mods now.

Hi sorry I didn't know what you meant by modcplink or any idea where I would have put it lol.
The mod link looks great- thanks. May I ask what template or file was edited so that I know how to add that code back if the files are overwritten in an update please?

Dang I had never seen that feature before, took me a while to find it. They must have added it for vB4 and I just never noticed. I had been using an addon plugin to add tabs and never realized there was a built-in editor to do both tabs and nav menu stuff. Thanks for the tip- now it all makes sense!

Works great- just got rid of that mod that is now useless lol. Granted, I added that before 4.2 so I guess it was necessary prior to that since I try to avoid any edits of templates or script files if at all possible. Thanks again for the tip!
