Catergory listing

The category listing used to be fairly prominent, but is now squished at the top of the left sidebar. Is it possible to move it back to the top of the right column somehow, above Recent Products, more like how it used to be in version 5?

I am not sure what your referring to. The category structure was never to the right of a product block in version 5.

You have two options old or new formats and they are controlled by the same option in Admin => Index Options set the use forum style layout to yes and use the big old style forum style catlist or no is the new sidebar catlist.

Thank you - the "forum-style" layout set to "yes" moved the category list from the left sidebar catlist back above the recent products thumbnail area, just as it used to be.

Yep you can run the new style category display or use the old display
