Integrate vb 4

I am a bit confused on the installation. There are options to integrate with vb 2 and vb 3 but, I don't see any for vb 4. Even in the config file it's asking for a vb3 license number. Also, I am seeing the error "Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/******/public_html/reviews/adm-misc.php on line 2372" in the admin cp. Also, there's no option in the config file to set up GD. I'm also seeing the error "Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/******/public_html/reviews/showcat.php on line 264" when I click on the default category.

I'm running vbulletin 4.2.0 and the version for the Review Post is v5.21. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

If I am not mistaken the config may say vb3 and you must answer that but clearly on the forum integration part you can select vb4 from the drop down and the integration switchs state vb2, vbportal and vb3/vb4 so you answer accordingly.

If there is a specific spot your stuck please let me know. I am working on reviewpost 6 which will include all the enhancements I talked about earlier.

Ok, let me go back and make sure every thing is correct.

EDIT: In the header-inc file, there are only vb 3 and 2 integration options. I remember reading some place that vbulletin changed some things so, for example, $vbuserid is now $userid. Is that correct? If so, would I change those values in that file to match?

EDIT: Nevermind, I see some vb 4 stuff in there. What am I supposed to change? I'm sorry I'm a bit confused. I'm not used to a script like this.

In the file sure correct.

I am saying on install where we ask you if you want to turn on things it reads vb3/vb4 they are the same switch

You do not need to edit anything in our program for something to work I have ran reviewpost with vb4 since it came out.

I only edited the config file upon initial installation as it stated in the instructions, where it said vb3 I entered the information for vB4, I chose vb4 from the drop down menu when installing and the script did not work correctly. After I posted here I went back and put in all of the information again and I am still having the same results. The review post home page does not display properly. I can see my banner and text links to other parts of my forum. The custom links that I have aren't linked properly, and it's only picking up part of my style. I have an adult forum, is there any place I can link to show you what I'm talking about?

well if you actually post a url maybe I can tell you what is being done wrong. Just take note if your also using hacks or mods with vbulletin nowhere do we advertise mods would work. We do integrate with vbulletin4.

There's no need for an attitude. If you actually look at your own rules you would see that you state NOT to link to adult forums! And take note, that it also states it should NOT interfere with mods. Of course there's always a chance but, I'd like to fix the problem before I go disabling plugins that are important for my forum. And, if I thought you did not integrate with vbulletin I would not have purchased the script. No where in my post did I say you do not integrate with vbulletin. I just asked where I can post a link to my adult forum so that I can get better help.

No attitude simply saying you would need to send us actual real info for me to formulate some type opinion.

If you have a custom style that is done in some other way than the normal default vb style or other stuff that may load for specific things that stuff is not going to work elsewhere than where it was coded to work which is why a hack is not going to work over our program. vb has lots of mods or hacks but that does not mean they are going to work on other programs pages outside of there coded parameters.

As I already stated in my last post you can send us information like a url and admin login to look around through the contact us link in our site header.

I can look and see if you have things installed correctly and we can go from there and I can definately tell you if you have mod issues with certain things.

FYI. I just released the first round beta 1 for reviewpost 6 which supports the new vbulletin 4.20 if your running that.

You can see that here

Main Index - Reeftalk Reviews

It will probally look different than your 5 series.
