Unable to read the format of the file

I got this error when re-scan the database /rebuilding all thumbnails:

Unable to read the format of file: /mydomainpath/data/3/61.jpg

It shows the file as a jpg file, but it cannot read it. What should I do?

Thanks,
Sean

Is it the same file? I would say that image is corrupt personally. The image can not be found try it yourself

Double make and check sure the actual file exists. That would tell you that your dealing with a file that is missing which means you can delete that product or upload a clean file depending on what the issue is. A corrupt file means you can not rebuild it.

The error does not review which product, it only tells you the file location, so how can I find out which product is it tied to?

Thanks,
Sean

You can put 61.jpg in the search and search all fields it should return the product.
